Sun, fun, run...Sarasota Music Half
The inaugural Sarasota Music Half Marathon was held on a beautiful February day in Sarasota, FL. The race's participants ran throughout downtown Sarasota, over the scenic Ringling Bridge and through the Marie Selby Gardens. The course featured 16 live bands, beer and spectators cheering on family and friends. Each runner received a medal celebrating the day and their hard work. After the race the music continued at the finish line where runners and supporters danced and enjoyed a free concert by the bay.               Read more...

Bright Colors Big Tennis
 The Australian Open is underway with its bright colors, partying spectators and Aussie passion. Its energy and often unexpected results makes it the most fitting way to kick of the grand slam season. We are only in day 3 and there have already been a number of upsets and amazing comebacks, with Serena and Azarenka demonstrating their down-under dominance and Monfils fighting back in his first round match to oohs and ahhs. A new year of tennis, a new year of Loriet
As the clock strikes 12 on December 31, the new year ushers in a barrage of tournaments, from Abu Dhabi to Auckland, from the Hopman Cup to Doha, and Brisbane to Shenzhen, tennis is back and it is full steam ahead. Adam El wins in Houston
HOUSTON – Adam El Mihdawy of the United States snapped a 4-4 tie in the third set wth a service break and then held serve to down Germany’s Lukas Finzelberg 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 and capture the singles title at the Texas Tamale Company Houston Cup held at the George R. Loriet Player Adam El MIhdawy (USA) Repeats Success in Tehuacán
Back to back Futures tournaments in Tehuacán, Mexico culminated in the top seed American Adam El Mihdawy winning in the final of week two with a 6/2 6/2 win over fellow American Evan Song. For El Mihdawy, this is his third final of the year after losing in the final of the Futures of Córdoba and winning in Querétaro.
